$5,000 worth of Halloween candy stolen from porch

$5,000 worth of Halloween candy was recently stolen from the front porch of a Nevis, Minn., home.
Red Lake Nation News says Mike Wade had the bulk candy delivery dropped off at his front door.
It weighed 100 lb. Mike orders an immense amount of candy so he can give out five handfuls to each child on Halloween. The candy came from Amazon and Walmart. The police are investigating.
I still have a hard time believing he spent $5,000 on candy. We give full size candy bars at my house and it doesn’t cost anywhere near that much.
Do schools even have a $5,000 budget for their candy? That just seems like a lot. 100 lbs. Wow.
