Tesla builds a bike that fans didn’t ask for

Tesla fans have been begging for an electric bike for years.
Elon listened and instead of an adult bike, he delivered… a toddler bike.
Tesla has released the “Balance Bike for Kids,” a balance bike that brings Tesla styling to a non-electric two-wheeled design for kids.
Tesla just dropped a $225 pedal-free Balance Bike for Kids, and the first batch is already sold out. YUP. You heard me.
The bike is built for ages 2–5 with a lightweight magnesium frame that’s 33% lighter than aluminum, a five-way adjustable seat, and that signature Tesla minimalist look.
It holds up to 77.1 pounds and fits little ones with a minimum leg length of 13.7 inches.
And because it’s Tesla, there’s merch — a $30 “Kids Pedal Power Tee” featuring the Optimus robot riding the bike. Yes, really.
If you missed the first drop, you can join the waitlist at the Tesla Shop. No word yet on whether that adult e-bike is ever coming.
