Greetings! My name is Bixby. I am a big ol’ shepherd boy, and I’m about 2 years old. I was transferred to MaxFund from the great state of Oklahoma.

I have not been here a very long time, but boy am I warming up quickly! It takes me a minute to get used to new folks, but I am a sweet dog. I like to play fetch and I get pretty excited when I see tennis balls. I’m a very athletic dog and would be a great adventure buddy. I do need a little bit of basic training since I like to pull on the leash, but I know sit and stay already. Because my background is a mystery, the humans are not sure how I do with other dogs, cats, or tiny humans (aka children). We can figure out whatever you need to find out to suit your family! The ideal home would be one with an active lifestyle. Because of my natural athleticism, I can hop over fences with ease- I’d need a fence taller than 6ft and or supervision when I’m in the yard.
