Jennifer Aniston producing new ‘9 to 5’ movie

No word on whether or not Jennifer Aniston will be acting in the new “9 to 5” movie, but her production company, Echo Films, will produce it.
Award winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is writing the new movie. Her past credits include “Juno,” “Jennifer’s Body” and most recently, “Lisa Frankenstein.”
Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda were in the original comedy, which was the second highest grossing movie of 1980 behind “Star Wars.”
Parton, Tomlin and Fonda had always hoped that there could be a sequel to “9 to 5,” but one never came about that was as strong as the first movie. The ladies scrapped the idea in 2019.
Aniston and company have no script or plot to announce, but are aware they have very big high heels to fill. Not to mention, they must keep the best line ever written, “Is it because you are a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot?”
