Yes, you read that correctly. Colorado has one of the best beaches in the United States. That may seem weird seeing that we’re a landlocked state, but it’s true according to Travel and Leisure. The traveling website just released a list of the 25 best beaches in the U.S. and Colorado scored a top spot with the Medano Beach along the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

According to Travel and Leisure, the best time to visit the ‘beaches’ of the Sand Dunes National Park is late May to early June and the weekends, when the park is less busy.
