Colorado water park named one of best in U.S.

Colorado has something else to boast about these days. According to USA Today, Water World is considered one of the best water parks in the country. Water World made it into the top 10 best water parks in the country coming in at number seven.
What makes Water World so great, according to the article, is first, the size — almost 70 acres. Plus, according to USA Today, “…wave pools, towering slides, interactive offerings and winding rivers from mild to wild. While rides like the Alpine Springs Express Gondola take guests high above the winding slides for a bird’s-eye view reminiscent of winter’s ski lifts, Warp Speed allows riders to cool down with a journey through an interstellar wormhole that’s both a game and ride in one. ”
The best water park in the country goes to Splashway Park in Sheridan, Texas. A ride called the Tubular Tornado blasts guests into a giant funnel.
