She tried out for the Denver Broncos cheerleaders because she wanted something interesting on her obituary. She got it.
A Colorado woman named Diane Reitz tried out to be a Denver Broncos cheerleader at age 64 so she could write about it in her obituary when she died. Her dream came true.
Diane recently passed away unexpectedly at age 68. Her obit reads, “Diane Rose Stebick Reitz, of Denver, passed away peacefully after complications from surgery.”
In her 60s, Diane became the oldest person to try out to be a Denver Broncos Cheerleader.
Although the squad decided to go in a different direction, Diane gained notoriety by being interviewed by 9NEWS.
Diane seemed like she was always full of life and having fun. What do you want your obituary to say? I need to think what I want to add to mine before its too late.
