New Apple emojis incoming: Yes, even a ‘distorted face’ for those Colorado morning commutes

Because apparently, we didn’t have enough ways to say “I’m tired” or “everything is chaos,” Apple has officially announced eight new emojis coming to your iPhone.

The new lineup includes a pair of ballet dancers, a “distorted face” (which, let’s be honest, is perfect for the 5 p.m. crawl on I-25), a cartoonish fight cloud, a hairy creature, a landslide, an orca, a trombone, and a treasure chest.

We aren’t sure exactly when they’ll hit your keyboard, but keep an eye out for that next iOS software update.

I’m personally excited to see how we manage to use the “hairy creature” emoji in our daily group chats—my guess is it’s going to be the new way to describe our hair after a windy day in the Rockies.
