Grab your mouse ears, Denver. This is not a drill.
Disney is reportedly reviving “The Mickey Mouse Club” with a brand new pilot headed to Disney+, and honestly? My pre-teen daughters don’t even know what this is yet — but I absolutely lost it.
The iconic talent showcase that gave us Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling back in the day is getting a serious 2026 glow-up. The new concept centers around music, innovation and self-expression, connecting performers from animated films, TV shows, and yes — YouTube and TikTok. Because of course it does.
The 11-person cast includes Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter and Brooklynn Pitts, with production already kicking off this month in Los Angeles. Executive producers Ben Winston, Ashley Edens, Emma Conway and Dave Piendak are steering the ship.
No release date has been announced yet — very Disney of them.
Here’s the thing though — as a mom of two girls who are currently obsessed with every performer on the internet, a structured, Disney-backed talent platform actually sounds…kind of amazing? Like, wholesome content? Yes please.
MMC has historically launched some massive careers.
Could lightning strike twice?
