Bath & Body Works’ Pizza & Ranch candle causes a stink

Bath & Body Works’ Pizza & Ranch candle is going viral with shoppers either loving it or hating it.
According to the candle’s description, it has “gooey cheese” fragrance notes with “crispy pepperonis and ranch.” The candle has sold out and will not be restocked by the company.
The company doesn’t have plans to restock its Pizza & Ranch candle, which was part of its limited-edition Perfecting Pairings candles launched for Candle Day 2025. The scent provoked extreme reactions, with some users calling it “disgusting” while others praised its “oddball scent”.
My favorite review said, “Smelt the pizza one by accident, like FULL SNIFF, and I actually saw my life flash before my eyes.”
Another review stated, “These candles are getting out of hand. The Pizza & Ranch one was literally one of the most foul things I’ve ever smelled in my entire life.”
The candle’s limited availability has led to resale listings online for as much as $50.
