7-Eleven’s Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC) day is this Saturday

Sep 14, 2026, 4:33 PM

Denver, it’s time to raid your cabinets. 7-Eleven brings back giant cup day this Saturday.

7-Eleven’s annual Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC) Day returns this Saturday, September 19, and it’s exactly what it sounds like — bring any creative container you want and fill it with a Slurpee for just $1.99.

The rules are simple: your container has to be clean, watertight, leak-proof, and able to stand upright inside a 10-inch cutout at the store.

That cutout is there to make sure your container fits under the Slurpee dispenser — so leave the Home Depot bucket at home.

One cup per customer, plus tax.

The deal is good at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations.

In past years, people have shown up with popcorn buckets, bike helmets, fishbowls, flower vases, trophies, teapots, and even cookie jars.

As 7-Eleven put it: “Whether it’s a trophy, teapot or cookie jar, if it fits, it’s fair game.”

Bonus: the Mountain Dew Slurpee is back for a limited run through October 28, so you can fill your ridiculous vessel with that if citrus is your thing.

Start planning your container now — is there such a thing as too much Slurpee? Never! I’m thinking of my cup right now.
