Younger people are getting cancer

Mar 27, 2024, 6:52 PM | Updated: 9:10 pm

Princess Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis has doctors sounding the alarm: Cancer rates have been increasing in adults under 50 years old.

According to Cancer Research UK, the amount of young people having cancer is 22% higher than it was in the 1990’s.

Women in their early 40’s are twice as likely to develop cancer compared to men in their early 40’s.

Researchers are saying there could be unknown environment factors that they haven’t discovered. The food and drinks that we put in our bodies over time can add up and become a ticking time bomb for cancer. Colon cancer has seen a rise and doctors believe it is directly related to our bodies and the toxins that our bodies are trying to get rid of.

Cancer forms when our cells divide in our DNA genes and the cells spread into surrounding tissue.
