The ceremony took place on Thursday, April 25. Franklin, who achieved remarkable success in swimming, is the first female graduate to receive such an honor from the school. During the dedication event, members of Franklin’s family, her coaches, and the 2023-24 girls and boys swim and dive teams were present.

Franklin also had the privilege of presenting the school’s annual athletics award, which is named in her honor, to senior basketball standout Hana Belibi. Additionally, the Missy Franklin ’13 Endowed Scholarship was announced, thanks to a generous gift from fellow alum John Sheridan. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a female student at Regis Jesuit High School.
