Pretty, Funny, Sunshiny Doris Day Passes Away at 97!

When I was a kid, me and my Dad would watch old movies together, and Doris Day was one of my favorite stars!  Her sunny smile, her style, and her beautiful singing voice made me want to be a movie star (with a 25 inch wasteline).  Plus, she was on TV and movies, and I thought that was pretty darned cool!

Doris Day has one of the funniest movie scenes of all time, where she slaps the face of Rock Hudson in “Send Me No Flowers” in 1964.
