Loose objects should be secured, and commuters need to drive with caution. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Watch for winds to cause downed tree limbs and power lines.

Expect strong gusty winds in Colorado, including the Denver metro area and Foothills, until Tuesday morning. A High Wind Warning is in place until 6 a.m. Tuesday for the Foothills, and until midnight Monday near the Foothills.

The National Weather Service in Boulder predicts gusts from 65 to 75 mph. Make sure to secure loose objects and drive carefully, especially if you’re in a high-profile vehicle.
