Flying cars crash during air show rehearsal

Fender benders are pretty common, but this is a first. It happened as they were practicing for an air show. These were “quadcopter” style flying cars, not “airplane” style, they got too close to each other doing a formation and collided Tuesday afternoon. Both pilots are OK, but one did have minor injuries. One landed OK, the other actually burst into flames when it landed. News outlets are calling it the “First ever flying car crash” or at least the first where two have crashed into each other.

This is probably a good warning that we’re not as ready for flying cars as we think, and no word on whether or not they exchanged insurance info.
