Just when things felt very ‘normal’ at the Paris Olympics, along comes Bob. ‘Bob the Cap Catcher’ as he is now known. During Sunday mornings swimming competition, American swimmer Emma Webber was competing in the women’s 100-meter breaststroke when she lost her swimming cap at the bottom of the pool.
It’s the Olympics and she couldn’t just dive back in and get it, so what to do? Here is where our hero in a flowery Speedo comes in. ‘Bob the Cap Catcher’ struts to the side of the pool in his floral Speedo, dives in and rescues Webber errant swimming cap.
The video has garnered viral support and here it is in case you haven’t seen it yet.
Who do you call when a swim cap falls in the pool?
