Is your KitKat stolen? There’s a tracker for that.

Apr 2, 2026, 6:59 AM

Look, I know we all have trust issues, but apparently, we now have to worry about our candy bars being involved in a heist.

KitKat just launched a “Stolen KitKat Tracker,” and yes, this is a real thing. Following a bizarre incident involving 12 tonnes of stolen chocolate bars, the company is letting fans check if their snack was part of the loot.

Because nothing says “I’m an adult who has it all together” like logging onto a website to see if your afternoon sugar fix was technically pilfered from a warehouse.

According to the official site, you can enter the batch code from your packaging to see if your treat was part of the missing haul. If you’re worried, just head over to their portal and type it in.

Look, if you’re listening to KOSI 101.1 while you snack, you’re already making good life choices. Whether your chocolate was “liberated” or not, it’s still delicious. But hey, at least now you can be the most informed person at the office snack table.

Stay sweet, Denver—and maybe check your candy wrapper before you take that first bite.
