I don’t like it. I don’t like it one bit. Is it motivation or rage?
Seeing another team’s logo on the Broncos’ practice field feels a little like walking into your house and finding someone else’s family photos on the wall.
Excuse me… what is THAT doing here?
But this one is intentional. Broncos head coach Sean Payton had the San Francisco 49ers’ logo painted on Denver’s practice field as the team prepares for Sunday’s road game at Levi’s Stadium.
Talk about commitment. I still don’t like seeing it.
I love the idea of making an unfamiliar setting feel familiar before the big moment. Does it guarantee success? No. But maybe it helps you walk in feeling a little more ready. The day before a big event I try to visualize it so I guess it’s kind of the same thing.
Of course, seeing that logo here in Broncos Country might still require a deep breath. We can appreciate the preparation. Go Broncos!
