University of Denver Pioneers win 10th national college hockey championship!
The Pioneers have won their 10th national championship after shutting out Boston College 2-0 in St. Paul Minnesota.
The nations top offense struck twice in the second period to go up 2-0. Boston College’s potent offense was uncharacteristically quiet. DU goalie Matt Davis was exceptional stopping 35 shots from BC’s potent offense.
Head coach David Carle is bringing back his second trophy in six years and has let DU to for NCAA Tournament appearances, to final four’s the championship in 2022.
The Pioneers now have won the most national championships in college hockey history, previously being tied with Michigan at 9.
