Two Colorado ski resorts BEST in North America

Here is just another reason that we LOVE Colorado. A recent survey asked about the best ski resorts in North America and Colorado has two of the top 10.

Congrats to Winter Park and Vail for making the list.  

Top 10 Ski Resorts in North America according to USA Today:

  1. Mount Bohemia – Lac La Belle, Michigan
  2. Banff Sunshine Village – Banff, Alberta
  3. Winter Park Resort – Winter Park, Colorado
  4. Lutsen Mountains – Lutsen, Minnesota
  5. Heavenly Mountain – South Lake Tahoe, California
  6. Palisades Tahoe – Olympic Valley, California
  7. Vail Ski Resort – Vail, Colorado
  8. Sun Valley Resort – Sun Valley, Idaho
  9. Cannon Mountain – Franconia, New Hampshire
  10. Alta Ski Area – Alta, Utah

Winter Park Resort has the ski train, which is awesome and so much more.  WP has 3,000 skiable acres, 27 trails and 23 lifts, including three high-speed six-pack lifts, and a 10-person gondola.

Vail has the beautiful village and is the largest resort in Colorado, 550 skiable acres.  Plus Vail has 195 trails with 32 lifts including high speed quads and 2 gondolas.
