During this interview, K-9 Rex only went after his ball 42 times. Rex and Officer John Gray joined Kathie J to talk about the importance of having Rex and K-9s like him in schools. The third annual RexRun for PAWSitivity will be September 7 from 7 a.m. – noon at The Arapahoe County Fairgrounds!
This fun family event allows the K-9s to stay on their mission to make our community and kids safer. Rex and his team are trained to find firearms and explosives, and Rex is also trained as a therapy dog that helps children feel safe and calm during school. The dogs also assist in teaching kids emotional intelligence.
