This week is National Pizza Week: The NY Post says Lupa Pizza, in Norwich, England, is deterring customers from choosing pineapple as a topping by charging a hefty $125 fee. Co-owner Francis Woolf loathes pineapple on pizza, while head chef Quin Jianoran prefers strawberries over the tropical fruit. Quin says, “I love a pina colada, but pineapple on pizza? Never. I’d rather put a bloody strawberry on one than that tropical menace.”
