Starbucks announces a new restroom policy

Starbucks announced Monday that guests will now have to make a purchase to linger in its locations or use the company’s restrooms. Starbucks North America President Sara Trilling says, “There is a need to reset expectations for how our spaces should be used, and who uses them.”

Survey: Should people be forced to make a purchase in order to use a public or restaurant restroom? Why or why not? Should non-paying customers be allowed to endlessly loiter in coffee shops with their laptops and use the free Wi-Fi?
