P!nk and Carey Hart have split for the second time after 20 years of marriage … or is it “fake news”?

In a shocking turn of events that managed to surprise exactly one person—the person it was actually about—pop icon Pink has confirmed she is not, in fact, getting a divorce.

The “So What” singer took to social media to address swirling rumors that she and her husband of 20 years, retired motocross pro Carey Hart, had called it quits for a second time. According to Pink, the news of her own marital demise was a “spoiler alert” she hadn’t yet received.

“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband,” Pink wrote, likely while sitting in the same house as said husband. “I didn’t know. Thank you for letting me know.”

The couple, who famously met at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia and have spent two decades navigating the various bumps and dirt-bike jumps of holy matrimony, are no strangers to the rumor mill. However, the 44-year-old singer suggested that if the public has enough free time to invent her divorce papers, they might want to pivot to a different reading list.

The singer noted that the collective focus of the internet should perhaps shift toward “real news,” citing the Epstein files, systemic racism, and misogyny in sports as better uses of everyone’s bandwidth.

“Like I always say,” she added, presumably with a world-weary sigh. “If you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype.”

While the denial was firm, the singer couldn’t resist leaving her followers with a signature bit of chaotic energy.

“Stay tuned though!” she wrote. “Who knows what could happen next!?!”

As of press time, Hart has not commented on his status as a “separated” man, likely because he is too busy being married. The couple shares two children, Willow and Jameson, who are presumably also just finding out about their parents’ imaginary breakup via the comments section.
