The Broadcast The 98th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC. For viewers in the Denver area, you can tune in through your local ABC affiliate, KMGH-TV (Channel 7). Coverage typically begins with the red carpet arrivals in the late afternoon, followed by the main ceremony in the evening hosted by Conan O’Brien.

– It costs $119,800 for a couple to attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

– Wallethub claims the cost of producing the Academy Awards is $44 million. The red carpet costs $24,700. Each Oscar statue costs around $900 to produce. Hollywood studios spend $100 million a year lobbying for awards.
