Once the holidays are over and you’ve packed up all the Christmas goodies it’s time to realize you live in the west. It’s time for the annual National Western Stock show to begin. It officially kicks off on January 6th on the stock show grounds. Thousands of people from around the country and more are in town to visit or to enter many competitions with their animals they bring from the farm or ranch. It’s a real education about Colorado’s agriculture, especially if you are a city slicker.
