Farmer’s Almanac predicts wet weather on the way

Aug 7, 2024, 11:05 AM | Updated: 11:26 am

The Colorado summer of 2024 has produced record heat and extreme dry conditions, but that may soon be changing.  According to the Farmer’s Almanac, wet weather is on the way this fall.

Looking at the Farmer’s Almanac map of the United States and their predictions for this fall, Colorado will see a frigid and wet fall.

Temperatures in the North Central region may be downright frigid, with lots of fall flakes and rain.

The Farmer’s Almanac event predicted a windy Halloween this year for Colorado.

Fall officially starts on September 22, 2024.  For other parts of the country, here is what the Farmer’s Almanac says they can expect this fall.

October is usually the clearest time of the year over the Eastern US, but not so this year. Our forecast is pointing towards twice as many cloudy and showery days as opposed to fair and sunny dry days.

Temperatures in the Northeast will also cool down quickly and November may see some snow in New England. See what we are predicting for Halloween.

The Farmer’s Almanac has been making long range weather predictions since 1818.
