DENVER, CO — Not one Denver Nuggets player went to college in the centennial state let alone Denver, but what about high school? Oddly enough only a handful of NBA players, current and past, grew up in Colorado. So where did our nuggets stars walk the halls and dominate the school gym?

Jamal Murray – Grand River, Kitchener Ontario.

Michael Porter Jr. – Father Tolton, Columbia, Missouri.

Aaron Gordan – Archbishop Mitty High School, San Jose, California.

Christian Braun –  Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Greenville High school, Greenville Georgia.

Bruce Brown – Wakefield High school Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Jeff Green – Northwestern High school Hyattsville, Maryland.

Zeke Nnaji – Lakeville North High School in Lakeville, Minnesota and Hopkins High school in Minnesota.

As for Nikola Jokic, he left home at a young age, in his high school years, to play with Mega Leks, a Serbian team.
