DIA’s longest flight ever takes off tomorrow

How long could you sit still on a plane? If you’re on the longest flight ever to leave DIA you’ll have to be able to sit still for 12 hours.
Tuesday, June 11th the longest flight ever to leave DIA will fly from Denver to Turkey’s Istanbul Airport on Turkish Airlines. The flight will last almost 12 hours and cover 6,130 miles.
Turkish Airlines announced that the direct flights to Istanbul will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Starting July 9th, a fourth weekly flight will be added on Sundays.
The direct flights are scheduled to depart Denver at 7:35 p.m. on the above days and arrive in Istanbul at 4:15 p.m. the next day. Returning flights from Istanbul will depart at 1:55 p.m., arriving in Denver at 5:40 p.m.
