Denver is getting a professional Women’s Rugby Team!

Not only is Denver getting a National Women’s Soccer team, but now we’re getting a professional Women’s Rugby team! Denver is one of six cities chosen for this new chapter. The team is called the Denver Onyx. Love that name! They’ll be Denver’s first professional Women’s Elite Rugby team. If you want to cheer them on, their first game will be March 29th at Infinity Park.
Fun side note. Did you know Denver’s state capitol is the only place in the world to find Rose Onyx, a very rare stone that is mined in Pueblo County!
