Colorado mom’s: Babies “R” Us set to return this year!

Many Coloradoans have missed shopping at Babies “R” Us. Well,  three Colorado Kohl’s locations will get a Babies “R” Us shop this year.

The shops will range between 750 and 2,500 square feet and will include baby gear, activity, bath, furniture, feeding, and safety products. The shops will expand on Kohl’s existing baby department, a news release states.

On Wednesday, the company unveiled the locations that will soon be offering the baby-focused departments:

  • 3110 N. Powers Blvd., Colorado Springs
  • 12090 Colorado Blvd., Thornton
  • 11875 Sheridan Blvd., Westminster

The partnership, which was announced in March, will bring Babies ”R” Us sections to about 200 Kohl’s stores in the U.S. by fall 2024. Products will also be available on Kohls.com

Babies “R” Us and Toys R Us closed their big-box stores in the late 2010s after years of retail woes, which led to the toy retailer filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

While Babies “R” Us continued to sell gear online, a revival started in 2021 when the brand got new owners, Forbes reported.

In 2022, its parent company Toys R Us relaunched with shops inside Macy’s stores.
