Can technology be fooled by ‘Looney Tunes’?

A YouTuber decided to test the self driving ability of a Tesla to see if it would react to “Looney Tunes” technology.  You know when Wiley Coyote would paint the side of a mountain in hopes of trapping Road Runner?  He put up a movie screen size blockage on a road, painted as though the road continued, then drove the Tesla at the wall to see if it would stop.  Here’s what happened.
