Boulder County fire near Lyons as evacuations ordered

Another wildfire is growing and forcing evacuations near Lyons in the Eagle Ridge area. The fire is burning north of Lyons near Stone Canyon.

Mandatory evacuation orders are issued for the Stone Canyon, Eagle Canyon and Eagle Ridge areas, according to the spokesperson.

Large animals can be taken to the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

So far, the latest fire near Lyons has burned near 30 acres and is 0% contained.  Boulder County Sheriff’s Office has their latest information on their social media feeds – which you check HERE.

The Alexander Mountain Fire is also still burning just west of Loveland.
