Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse starts Thursday

Skywatchers, Get Ready for a Treat! This week, a Blood Moon will transform into a stunning total lunar eclipse. The event kicks off Thursday night (March 13th)  and continues into the early hours of Friday.  Astronomers say the shade of red depends on the amount of dust and cloud cover in the atmosphere. No special equipment is required to enjoy this event, but a telescope or binoculars will give you a better view.  For the best experience, try to find a spot away from city lights.  Hopefully they clouds will stay away long enough so we can witness it!
