Dr. Carter fans, this one is for you.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Noah Wyle has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2026. It is his first time receiving the title.
Wyle currently stars as Dr. Robby on “The Pitt,” but a lot of fans first fell for him back in 1994 when he played Dr. John Carter on “ER.” Yes, 1994. Please enjoy that tiny reminder that time is rude.
Wyle told People his first reaction to the honor was, “I thought that sounded like a prank.”
Honestly, that feels very on-brand. Calm, humble and slightly confused by the internet suddenly yelling, “Still hot!”
The title puts Wyle in the long line of celebrities who have received the annual honor, but for longtime TV fans, this one may feel especially satisfying.
Because some crushes do not disappear. They just put on scrubs again.
