Colorado football fans, we’ve got a new team to cheer for.
The United Football League has announced the Colorado Stampede as its newest franchise. The team will join the league alongside seven current UFL teams, with Oklahoma and Utah set to come on board in 2028.
The Stampede’s logo will be revealed during a launch party Sunday, so we’ll finally get a first look at the team’s official style.
There’s also a familiar Colorado connection already in place. Rick Neuheisel was named head coach in September. Colorado fans may remember him from his time as head coach of the CU Buffs in the ’90s.
The Stampede will bring spring professional football to Colorado, giving fans another team to follow after the Broncos’ season wraps up — and possibly a chance to watch future NFL talent develop right here at home. Season tickets are available online for $75, and the UFL says the team will play five home games. Fans who buy season tickets by Nov. 1 will automatically be entered for a chance to win a trip to St. Louis for the 2027 UFL Draft on Nov. 18.
