Congrats to the USA Men’s team for bronze! First time in 16 years they have medaled. Thanks to “Clark Kent,” or Steve. This story is too awesome and you know I love me some nerds, so, bring it on!!
There’s a new American Superhero. Everyone is freaking out over this sweet nerdy guy named Steve, who came through in the clutch to deliver a bronze for U.S. Men’s Gymnastics. That’s their first medal in 16 years. His name is Stephen Nedoroscik, and you need to see his winning pommel horse routine.
Thanks and congrats to the whole team including Paul Juda, Brody Malone, Frederick Richard and Asher Hong. But Stephen has become a legend because he took off his glasses before and then crushed it like superhero Clark Kent.
Here’s one of the best social media reactions:
“Taking off your glasses to then perform a near-perfect routine on the pommel horse is so freaking metal.”
“I have always supported this guy since I learned about him five minutes ago.”
“Obsessed with this guy on the US men’s gymnastics team who’s only job is pommel horse, so he just sits there until he’s activated like a sleeper agent, whips off his glasses like Clark Kent and does a pommel horse routine that helps deliver the team its first medal in 16 years.”
Go Team Steve!! I love the internet.
