World Down Syndrome Day dance party

Friday, March 21, Global Down Syndrome Foundation will host a dance party at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center for World Down Syndrome Day. The dance will run from 6 to 9 p.m., and Kona Grill will provide food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The event will feature a live DJ, swag bags, prizes and drawings.

Global’s goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of March. The funds will go toward research initiatives and will help to provide free medical resources to those in need, including the 2,700 patients with Down syndrome from 32 states, Puerto Rico and 10 countries. Make a donation here.
