One of the things, and there are many, that we admire about Taylor Swift is that she is a marketing genius. After being taken advantage of as an artist early in her career, she took the reins of her brand and developed it into a multi-level empire.
Not many artists release full albums any longer, choosing instead to release one song at a time. Not only did Swift release a new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” with 17 songs, but a few hours later, she released “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,” giving us 31 songs instead of the original 17.
