These three Denver parks will host food trucks this summer as city launches “feast” program.
We love food trucks and Colorado has some great ones. A Denver pilot program will take place in three major Denver parks, where food trucks will be available on specific days to provide residents with a variety of food and beverage options in public green spaces.
Denver Parks and Recreation says it’s “Feast In Denver’s Nature” program runs through Aug. 31.
Here is a park-by-park schedule for Denverites and visitors interested in partaking in the feasting:
Washington Park: 4-8 p.m. on Wednesdays and noon to 8 p.m. on Saturdays. The initial trucks are Hibachi House, Mississippi Boy Catfish & Ribs and Tha MooVment. The park is at South Downing Street and East Kentucky Avenue.
Paco Sanchez Park: 4-8 p.m. on Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, except on Aug. 3. The initial trucks are Fritay Haitian Cuisine and Monini’s Kitchen. The park is at 1280 Knox Court.
Commons Park: 5-8 p.m. on Thursdays, except for July 4. The events will have a rotating truck roster. The park is at 2101 15th St.
Denver Parks is also asking if you visit, please evaluate this pilot program by providing feedback on your experience.
