These Are the Most In-Demand Jobs. They All Share a Common Trait.

Jun 26, 2026, 8:01 AM | Updated: 10:19 am

Okay, mamas (and everyone else juggling approximately 47 responsibilities right now) — let’s talk jobs.

A new study from Indeed says employers are actively hunting for workers who can show up in person. Yes, actually show up. Put on real pants and everything.

Healthcare is HUGE right now. Between an aging population and ongoing worker shortages, if you or someone you know has any medical training, employers want you — like, yesterday.

Here’s the slightly annoying part: remote workers are generally earning less than their in-person counterparts. Executives get a pass on that one, naturally. (Cool, cool, cool.)

The good news? Artificial intelligence is actually creating high-paying new roles, not just stealing them. So maybe those skills your kids are low-key developing on their tablets have a future after all.

The hottest industries heading into 2026:

  • Healthcare
  • Technology
  • Skilled Trades

Bottom line — if you’re job hunting in Denver, the opportunities are genuinely there. But employers, take note: move fast or lose great candidates. Top talent doesn’t wait around forever.

Neither do pre-teens, but that’s a different article entirely.
