“Color Book” premieres on Netflix this Father’s Day weekend. Winner of 30 film festival awards, this is the story of a dad’s unconditional love, the weight of raising his son alone and the moments of joy that show up when you least expect them. I talked with the film’s young star Jeremiah Daniels, his dad Terrance and Global Down Syndrome Foundation CEO Michelle Sie Whitten about what this movie means — for their family, for the Down syndrome community and for every parent who’s ever shown up when it was hard.
