Spicy new bookstore opens this weekend in Colorado

It was always a dream of Mama D and I’s to open a bookstore. This Former Denver Kindergarten teacher is living our best life!
The Spicy Librarian opens this weekend in Denver’s Rino neighborhood. It is a unique bookstore that focuses on “Romance” novels. It happens to be my FAVORITE genre. I am so excited for this local business.
28-year old Sydney Ivey drew inspiration from actual libraries, decorating her store with pieces like an old card catalog, and reclaimed carpet from the Denver Library.
She also created themed areas, focused on romance subgenres like fantasy. Her goal was to create a space where romance novel enthusiasts can host book club meetings and attend author lectures.
I feel like I need to start a book club that meets there monthly!
