Speed puzzling craze hits southern Colorado

Feb 18, 2026, 9:09 AM | Updated: 2:46 pm

I have been really into puzzles lately, and this seems like it would so much fun! Challenge yourself and still get the therapy of putting a puzzle together.

Speed puzzling is heating up across the nation and in southern Colorado, and dozens of puzzlers recently gathered at Mind Quest Puzzles and Games in Monument for a mini-tournament hosted by SpeedPuzzling.com.

While people put the pieces together in Monument, other competitions are happening at the same time with the same puzzles across America. “I’ve been coast to coast all over the country doing these and I’ll see different nationalities, different cultures” said LauraLee Angell, Event Planner for SpeedPuzzling.com. “We’re all just there having fun.”

Ok, who is up for a new hobby and type of club with me? I might need to start timing myself!
