Six Denver metro cities make list of top places to live in U.S.

The cat may already be out of the bag when it comes to how great living in Colorado can be. Six Denver metro area cities have made the list of best cities to live in the United States. Livability looked at factors like the city’s economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education and health.
The list of cities does not include cities with a population under 75,000 or over 500,000. Overall, 2,000 cities were looked at and then narrowed down to the top 100 cities to live in the U.S.
How did Colorado do? These six Denver metro area cities all made the list.
Broomfield scored the highest on the Livability score, scoring an impressive 853. Here is what Livability said about Broomfield,
Newcomers and long-time residents alike appreciate the more than 700 acres of green space, including numerous bike trails, 45 playgrounds and three public golf courses. The cost of living in Broomfield is about 20 percent higher than the national average, but higher salaries help offset those costs.
The top city on the list? Carmel, Indiana, which scores an impressive 875 and had a median home value of $380,506. Broomfield’s median home value was higher, at $491,262.
