Plane blows tire during take off at DIA

A WestJet flight headed to Alberta, Canada blew a tire or two during take off on a runway at Denver International Airport.
Air traffic control observed tires blown on a landing gear and smoke visible from beneath the aircraft shortly after it was cleared for takeoff at 12:25 p.m.
The pilots immediately aborted take off.
The plane stopped right there on the active runway.
Emergency crews rushed out, rolled air stairs up to the aircraft, and buses brought passengers back to the terminal.
WestJet’s website canceled the flight following the incident.
4 hours later and the plane is still sitting at the end of the runway.
But can you imagine? You’re buckled in, the plane is picking up speed, and suddenly everything stops and there’s smoke. That is a Thursday those passengers will not forget.
