‘NY Post’ reports people are putting cayenne pepper in socks to stay warm

I’ve heard of Vicks in your socks, but not cayenne pepper. Vicks for colds and cayenne pepper for cold weather.
The “NY Post” says people in cold weather states and NFL players are putting cayenne pepper in their socks to stay warm.
The capsaicin in cayenne pepper improves circulation, reduces inflammation and even helps with weight loss.
Online sites claim mixing 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper with one ounce of foot powder will keep you warm.
What are you doing to stay warm? I put my heating pad under the sheets. I have also turned on the ove, and left the door open to heat the house.
