New Michael Jackson movie is hated by critics, loved by fans

Michael Jackson comes to life in the new biopic,  “Michael.” Michael is played by his nephew in real life, Jafar Jackson. Jafar is Jermaine Jackson’s son.

The story of Michael Jackson’s famous life is told with permission from the Jackson Estate.

Sources closest to Michael say this movie is the most accurate explaining Michael’s emotions and thoughts throughout his career and personal life.

Critics say Michael feels overly sanitized, skipping major controversies and lacking depth. Critics are mad that the movie did not touch on the scandal of underage boys or over use of drugs.

Those critics must not be aware that there is a second movie planned where those controversial topics of the legend will be explored.

Many call it shallow, rushed, and cliché-driven, with a “soulless” story—though most agree the lead performance and musical moments are its strongest highlights.

I enjoyed the movie. I am a Thriller Michael Jackson kid and fan. I will always love that music. Personally, I have seen lots of documentaries and movies over the years about Michael and his brothers. This was the best one. Jafar is undeniably Michael. The entire surrounding cast was incredible. Coleman Domingo as Joe Jackson will send shivers down your spine and have you thinking about your own father.

To this Michael Jackson fan who has seen everything on the artist, I liked the movie. I will share it with my children and now, I understand more why Michael was so misunderstood. His home life was suffocating him.

The movie truly explains why Michael wasn’t like the rest of us.

I will wait and watch the second movie as well. No spoiler alerts. We all know what’s about to happen and how it ends.
