Multi-million dollar winning lottery ticket sold in Snowmass

Someone bought a Colorado lottery ticket in Snowmass and is now a millionaire. The winning ticket was bought at the Sundance Drug and Liquor and is now worth $5,727,684, with a cash option of $2,061,966.
This is a big win for the Colorado Lottery+, the last time someone won this big was in April when one person purchased a ticket in Wray worth $7 million.
Wednesday night’s winning ticket is among the top 20 highest payouts for the Colorado Lotto+.
As of Thursday morning, the winning ticket had yet to be claimed. The winner has 180 days to claim their money, if not the money is given to the beneficiary fund where it is distributed to Great Outdoors Colorado, the Conservation Trust fund and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
